SPATIO TEMPOREL is a diverse and engaging journey through dÉbruit’s incredible array of rhythms and influences. Armed with his synths he’s takes his beats to Africa via LA, France, Persia and the future. Combining African Yoruba, Nigerian Highlife, Persian Funk, Congolese Electronics, Vocoded Ouest Coast vocals and international thoroughbred synths with dÉbruit’s jack-knifing riddims, booby trapped syncopation and bass heavy collisions.

Parisian Bump Hop Master Débruit joins the Civil team!
SOUNDS LIKE: FRENCH B-BOY ELECTRO // HEAVY WONKY BEATS // SYNTH MAGIC // BUMP HOP // GLITCH // WEST COAST HIP-HOP // HIP-HOUSE
FILE NEXT TO: HUDSON MOHAWKE // MODESELEKTOR // DABRYE // MR OIZO // MANTRONIX // DAEDELUS // FLYING LOTUS // MIKE SLOTT // DJ MUJAVA
Let’s Post Funk comprises two slabs of heavyweight unadulterated future-funk blending wonky electro, West Coast hip-hop, and a certain je ne sais quoi.
The squelchy, clipped I’m Goin Wit You sees the boundary-pushing producer coating his rugged, juddering electronics with smooth soulful vocals from guest Om’Mas Keith. Angular beats chop through the mix whilst wild bass and west coast vibes spill everywhere. Om’Mas is one third of LA crew Sa-Ra Creative Partners, and has worked with Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Kanye West and Andre 3000 – he capably croons the chorus whilst London singer-songwriter Jamie Woon completes the picture with some additional vocals. Soles Sweat features 215:The Freshest Kids aka West Coast emcees and scenesters Cerebral Vortex and Buddy Leezle. The pair featured on Rustie’s Café De Phresh and here, together with Stray, they low-ride dEbruit’s bass-heavy, low-slung beats to show us that hip-hop is about partying, ladies and having a dope sneaker collection.
Let’s Post Funk marks dÉbruit’s debut release for Civil Music. The single comes complete with special artwork by Rainbowmonkey – 3-D glasses are included for your viewing pleasure and a 3-D video is available here!!!

CIVIL MUSIC SAYS
Parisian Bump Hop Master dÉbruit ( Musique Large / Civil ) gets his KeeCLAC alter ego out on Keychain for that unmistakably French sound. The Franco-American hybrid is a huge party track, fun danceable with that killer hook driving you to distraction. Watch out for his new Ep and releases this summer on Civil Music.
Architeq’s mentallist fusion of discoid bass with post-junglist electronica remix EP including revisions from Kelpe, Fulgeance, Debruit and James Pants taking on Architeq’s ‘Birds Of Prey’
Debruit’s is pure rhythmic tension with slight double timed rhythms underpinned by a heavy head-nod beat, a stellar revision this is a must have item for any of the nu-skool instro hiphop to disco heads or even dub house fiends. Large.

BOOMKAT SAYS:
Back in stock. Débruit bounces up again after his killer ‘Coupé Décalé’ LP with another EP of angular beat chops and wobbly synths ruling our world. Debruit has that innate knack for blending the freshest digital production techniques with rich analog samples, best displayed on ‘Echtah’ raising the temperatures high enough to fuse a snippet of Congolese chants with Skwee levels of synth cheek. The Daedelus refix of ‘Pouls’ implodes with a stunning slo-fast refix seemingly working on two or three different tempos at once for a truly head melting effect, but it’s the ridiculously heavy ‘Congo Whoomp’ that owns this twelve with Kwaito style house and a spongy (sub)Bassline wobble and freewheelin synthlines for one of the most unhinged cross cultural Wonky fusions we’ve heard this year. Trust us, this one is worth twice the price of admission alone!!! Essenital dopebeats for lovers of HudMo, Flylo, Mike Slott, Mujava or Oizo. ESSENTIAL

BOOMKAT SAYS: Flying low under the radar, it appears that this is the first release from ace French fellas Debruit. There’s some heavyweight chopped and screwed electronic hiphoppin going down here, over the six tracks on offer Debruit manage to sound like a lot of producers that are really tickling our fancy right now, touching on the wonked rave hop style forged by Rustie, the blunted rhythmic shifts of Flying Lotus, and mashed with the edit hyperactivity of Mr Oizo or label mate Ghislain Poirier these are some proper prime numbers. Definitely recommended!
